Report: Priscila Cachoeira Replaces Rachael Ostovich At UFC Fight Night Auckland

Rachael Ostovich has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Auckland for undisclosed reasons, replacing her against Shana Dobson is Priscila Cachoeira.

MMA Junkie first reported the news and the bout is still expected to be a part of the preliminary card.

Dobson (3-3-0) also comes into the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Lauren Mueller and Sabina Mazo. Dobson’s last victory also came at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale, with that win coming over Ariel Beck. Dobson has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and five of those encounters went the distance.

Cachoeira (8-3-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping bouts to Valentina Shevchenko, Molly McCann and Luana Carolina. Cachoeira hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with that last win coming over Rosy Duarte at Hipnose Fight Night 3 in September of 2017. Cachoeira has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter, with four coming by KO/TKO and four comes by way of decision. 

UFC Fight Night Auckland takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Paul Felder and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
