Report: Police Investigating Conor McGregor For Alleged Involvement In A Bar Fight
Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor seemingly cannot stay out of trouble, as the fighter is reportedly being investigated for his role in a bar fight.
The Irish Mirror is reporting that McGregor is being accused of participating in a bar fight at the Mable Arch pub in Dublin, Ireland this past Saturday.
A source told the Irish Mirror that McGregor “was being a show off in the pub and one man didn’t like it” and a fellow bar patron confronted McGregor over it. Another person allegedly approached McGregor and told him that “the Russian battered you” in reference to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov defeating McGregor at UFC 229.
It was then reported that a man told the gardai (the Irish police force) that McGregor had punched him at the Mable Arch pub. The gardai are now investigating the incident and have confirmed that McGregor was in Dublin at the time of the incident to attend an amateur MMA event.
This isn’t the only investigation that McGregor is involved in at the moment, as the fighter is also being investigated in Ireland for an alleged sexual assault that took place late last year. There has been no comment from McGregor’s representatives or the UFC at this time.
