Report: Phoenix Jones Arrested On Multiple Drug Related Charges
Professional MMA fighter Ben Fodor, better known by some as the vigilante super hero Phoenix Jones, has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
KOMO out of Seattle, Washington reports that Fodor was arrested earlier this month in King County, Washington on multiple drug charges. Fodor has been accused of selling Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and cocaine to an undercover police officer.
The report from KOMO states that Fodor sold 7.1 grams of MDMA, better known by its street name of “Molly,” to an undercover police officer in November of 2019. The undercover officer paid Fodor a total of $500 and set up a second meeting for January of this year. It was during that second meeting that Fodor and an accomplice, who’s name is Andrea Irene Berendsen, were arrested with seven bundles of cocaine in their possession.
Fodor has had multiple run-ins with the law in the past, as the so-called superhero has been cited eight times from driving without a license. Fodor is out of jail as of this writing, but is due back in court for arraignment on Monday, February 3. Fodor last competed at CageSport 47 in October of 2017, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Austin Vanderford.
