Report: Nik Lentz & David Teymur Lose Upcoming Opponents, Willing To Fight Each Other
Nik Lentz and David Teymur have no opponents for their upcoming bouts at UFC Fight Night Liverpool and UFC Fight Night Utica according to MMA DNA.
Lentz was scheduled for a bout against Leonardo Santos, while Teymur was set for action against Don Madge.
There is no word at this time as to why Madge and Santos have been pulled from their respective bouts.
However, both fighters may have found a silver lining in each other because they both agreed to a fight via Twitter.
It all began when Teymur issued the challenge to Lentz:
.@NikLentz I lost my guy and you lost yours let’s put on a show for the fans
— David Teymur (@DavidTeymur) April 28, 2018
That would lead to the following response from Lentz:
Sounds good to me. I agreed already, just waiting on commission to approve. Train hard and stay healthy. I’ll see you in NY!! ——– #UFC @ufc https://t.co/dQYp5G4QQJ

While both fighters have agreed to fight each other at UFC Fight Night Urica, nothing has been made official by the UFC at this time.
UFC Fight Night Utica takes place on Friday, June 1 from the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York with Jimmie Rivera and Marlon Moraes headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
