Report: Nasrat Haqparast Faces Alex Munoz At UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Oleinik as Nasrat Haqparast faces Alex Munoz.

BILD.de first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Haqparast (11-3-0) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Marc Diakiese, Thibault Gouti and Joaquim Silva. Haqparast hasn’t earned a victory in just about a year, as the aforementioned win over Silva came in August of last year. Haqparast has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Munoz (6-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost five years. Munoz competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 14, defeating Nick Newell by unanimous decision. Munoz has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those encounters went the distance.

UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik takes place on Saturday, August 8 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Derrick Lewis and Aleksei Oleinik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
