Report: Movsar Evloev Faces Nate Landwehr At UFC Vegas 16
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 16 as Movsar Evloev faces Nate Landwehr.
MMA DNA first reported the news.
Evloev (13-0-0) has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, defeating Seung Woo Choi, Enrique Barzola and Mike Grundy. Evloev is also a former M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion, but he relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC. Evloev has only competed in two promotions throughout his professional MMA career, with those being the UFC and M-1 Challenge.
Landwehr (14-3-0) has won just one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Darren Elkins at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris. Landwehr is a former M-1 Challenge featherweight champion, defeating Viktor Kolesnik at M-1 Challenge 102 in June of 2019. Landwehr has competed 17 times as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them went the distance.
UFC Vegas 16 takes place on Saturday, December 5 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jack Hermansson and Kevin Holland headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
