Report: Mohammed Usman vs. Terrance Hodges Headlines Titan FC 63, Flyweight Title Fight In Co-Main
A heavyweight division attraction will headline the upcoming Titan Fighting Championship 63 card as Mohammed Usman faces Terrance Hodges.
MMA Fighting first reported the news, while also revealing that Christian Ynastrilla and Wascar Cruz will battle for the vacant Titan FC flyweight title in the co-main event.
Usman (6-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the Titan FC banner, having defeated Frank Tate, Alexis Garcia and Reggie Cato. Usman is the brother of UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, who has also done color commentary for Titan FC in the past. Usman’s lone defeat as a professional MMA fighter came to UFC veteran Don’Tale Mayes and that came at Victory FC 60.
Hodges (2-6-0) has earned two wins as a professional MMA fighter, with those coming over Anthony Daugherty and Conway Beaudry. Hodges hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, as the win over the aforementioned Beaudry came in August of 2019. Hodges has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and his opponents combined records is 3-25-0.
Titan FC 63 takes place on Friday, August 28 from the InterContinental Miami in Miami, Florida with Mohammed Usman and Terrance Hodges headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
