Report: Mike Rodriguez Replaces John Allan At UFC Vegas 10
John Allan has been pulled from UFC Vegas 10 due to visa issues, replacing him against Ed Herman is Mike Rodriguez.
MMA Fighting first reported the news.
Herman (25-14-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two-fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Patrick Cummins and Khadis Ibragimov. Herman has not suffered a defeat in well over a year. That last loss came against Gian Villante at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Herman did make it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, but lost to Kendall Grove in that final fight.
Rodriguez (11-4-0-1NC) has won just two of five fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Adam Milstead and Marcin Prachnio. Rodriguez competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Jamelle Jones by first round knockout. Rodriguez has competed 16 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Vegas 10 takes place on Saturday, September 12 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
