Report: Mike Kimbel Faces Chris Disonell At Bellator 225

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 225 according to The Body Lock as Mike Kimbel is going to be in action against Chris Disonell. 

Kimbel (3-1-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career in Bellator MMA, while competing two separate promotions as an amateur MMA fighter. Kimbel was last seen in action at Bellator 222, defeating Sebastian Ruiz by unanimous decision. Kimbel has competed a total of four times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those encounters went the distance. 

Disonell (3-3-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so having won two of those last three bouts. Disonell has fought a total of four times under the Ring Of Combat banner, picking up a pair of victories during that time over Chris Johnson and Matt Turnbull. Disonell has competed a total of six times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those encounters went to the judges scorecards. 

Bellator 225 takes place on Saturday, August 24 from the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut with Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
