Report: Mickey Gall Faces George Sullivan At UFC Fight Night Lincoln
A welterweight division encounter has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Lincoln card according to the Lincoln Journal Star as Mickey Gall faces George Sullivan.
Gall (4-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Randy Brown at UFC 217. Gall had won three straight fights in the UFC before that loss, with those victories coming over CM Punk, Mike Jackson and Sage Northcutt. Gall has only seen one of his five professional MMA fights go the distance and that was the aforementioned encounter at UFC 217 last November.
Sullivan (17-6-0-1NC) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Dominic Waters at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. Sullivan hasn’t earned a victory in over three years, with that aforementioned win coming in July of 2015. Sullivan has picked up a total of seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, August 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Justin Gaethje and James Vick headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
