Report: Merab Dvalishvili Faces Casey Kenney At UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho
A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho as Merab Dvalishvili faces Casey Kenney.
The Body Lock first reported the fight, but its position on the card isn’t known at this time.
Dvalishvili (9-4-0) enters the contest while riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Brad Katona and Terrion Ware. Dvalishvili hasn’t been defeated in well over a year, with that last loss coming to Ricky Simon at UFC Fight Night Atlantic City. Dvalishvili has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and six came by way of decision.
Kenney (13-1-1) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Ray Borg and Manny Bermudez. Kenney also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8, suffering a split decision loss to Adam Antolin. Kenney previously competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 2, defeating CJ Hamilton by unanimous decision.
UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho takes place on Saturday, February 15 from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Jan Blachowicz and Corey Anderson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
