Report: Kyle Bochniak Faces Hakeem Dawodu At UFC 231
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 231 according to MMA Junkie as Kyle Bochniak is going to be battling Hakeem Dawodu.
Bochniak (8-3-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with the last bout being a loss to Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC 223. Bochniak is going to be fighting on his third straight pay-per-view card, holding a record of 1-1-0 in those previous bouts. Bochniak has seen his last five bouts go the distance and it has been almost three years since the fighter got a finish.
Dawodu (8-1-1) is looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came against Austin Arnett via unanimous decision at UFC On Fox 30. Dawodu also picked up seven wins in the World Series Of Fighting promotion, with one victory coming over UFC veteran Steven Siler. Dawodu has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and only two of those bouts went the distance.
UFC 231 takes place on Saturday, December 8 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Max Holloway and Brian Ortega headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
