Report: Kyle Bochniak Cut By The UFC
The UFC Featherweight Division is down a fighter as Kyle Bochniak has reportedly been cut by the promotion.
A released Bochniak issued the following statement through Twitter:
Currently exploring free agency & excited to see what the future holds. The journey is far from over. Let’s get this work. Who would you be excited to see me sign with? pic.twitter.com/LQ9gJ7p48I

Bochniak (8-5-0, 2-5-0 UFC) only earned two victories under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Enrique Barzola and Brandon Davis. Bochniak exits the UFC while in the midst of a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the trio of Zabit Magomedsharipov, Hakeem Dawodu and Sean Woodson. Bochniak fought a total of seven times in the UFC and all of those encounters went to the judges scorecards. Bochniak hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with the last win over the aforementioned Davis coming in January of 2018.
There is no word at this time as to what is next for Bochniak, but the fighter is free to sign with whatever promotion makes a suitable offer.
