Report: Kenny Cross vs. Kevin Syler Rebooked For Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 29
A lightweight division attraction has been rebooked for Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 29 as Kenny Cross faces Kenny Syler.
James Lynch first reported the news. The bout was originally set for Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 27.
Syler (10-0-0) is undefeated thus far in his professional MMA career and that streak has already lasted over six years. Syler competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 4, defeating Lance Lawrence by unanimous decision. Syler has won seven times via submission.
Cross (7-3-0) has spent the majority of his professional MMA career competing in Knockout Promotions, winning five of seven there. Cross is competing for the first time in just over a year. His last bout took place at WXC 80 in July of 2019. Cross has competed 10 times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 29 takes place on Tuesday, August 18 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Louis Cosce and Victor Reyna headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
