Report: Karl Roberson Faces Jack Marshman At UFC 230

A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 230 according to Roberson himself as Karl Roberson is in action against Jack Marshman.

Roberson (6-1-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner. With that lone win coming over Darren Stewart at UFC Fight Night Norfolk. Roberson also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Ryan Spann by first round knockout. Roberson has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of his bouts went to the judge’s scorecards.

Marshman (22-7-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last fight being a first round submission loss to Antonio Carlos Jr. at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo (2017). Marshamn has suffered a total of seven losses as a professional MMA fighter and all seven of them came to UFC and/or Bellator MMA veterans. Marshman is also returning to action for the first time in over a year by the time the bout takes place, as his last fight took place on October of 2017.

UFC 230 takes place on Saturday, November 3 from Madison Square Garden in new York, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
