Report: Jussier Formiga Faces Brandon Moreno At UFC Fight Night Brasilia
A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as #2 Jussier Formiga is in action against #5 Brandon Moreno.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this point in time.
Formiga (23-6-0) has won four of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Yuta Sasaki, Ben Nguyen, Sergio Pettis and Deiveson Figueiredo. Formiga has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came in the UFC. Formiga has picked up twenty three wins as a professional MMA fighter, but none of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Moreno (16-5-1) has won just one of two during his second run with the UFC, as that lone victory came over Kai Kara France at UFC 245. Moreno has had two runs thus far in the UFC, earning an overall record of 4-2-1 in the promotion. Moreno competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, but lost in the opening round of the reality show to Alexandre Pantoja.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
