Report: Josh Emmett Suffered A Complete ALC Tear UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov

Josh Emmett completed in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov, defeating Shane Burgos by unanimous decision.

That victory did not come without consequences for Emmett, who suffered a myriad of injuries during the bout.

Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports that Emmett suffered a complete ACL tear, a partial MCL tear, a focal impact fracture of femur, damaged cartilage and swelling.

 

There is no word yet on how long Emmett is going to be out of action for, but more should be known as the fighter gets the aforementioned injuries treated.

Emmett, who is currently ranked #8 in the UFC Featherweight Division, has won five of his last six fights under the UFC banner.
