Report: Jimmy Flick Faces Cody Durden On December 5 UFC Card

A flyweight division attraction has been added to the yet to be announced UFC card on December 5 as Jimmy Flick faces Cody Durden.

MMA Matchmaking first reported the bout.

Flick (15-5-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. Flick competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 31, defeating Nate Smith by third-round submission. Flick has picked up 13 of 15 professional MMA wins by submission, with the other two coming by decision.

Durden (11-2-1) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, fighting Chris Gutierrez to a unanimous draw at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan. Durden hasn’t been defeated in over two years with that last loss coming to Ryan Hollis at 864 Fighting Championship 3 in March of 2018. Durden has competed 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.

The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, December 5 from a location to be announced with Darren Till and Jack Hermansson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
