Jim Miller vs. Bobby Green added to UFC 258 lineup
UFC lightweight veterans Jim Miller and Bobby Green are set to meet at UFC 258 on February 13, first reported by MMAJunkie’s Nolan King and George Garcia. The fight is yet to be officially announced by the promotion but is a welcomed addition nonetheless to the UFC’s next pay-per-view offering. Miller is 4-4 in his last eight fights, most recently losing a unanimous decision to Vinc Pinchel at UFC 252. Green on the other end has had a bit of a career resurgence lately going 3-1 in his last fight four fights but also is coming off a decision loss, losing to Thiago Moises at UFC Vegas 12 in his latest outing.

Chase Sherman to take on Parker Porter at UFC event on April 17
A heavyweight matchup between Chase Sherman and Parker Porter is being targeted for a UFC Fight Night event on April 17, according to a report from MMAFighting’s Steven Marrocco and Mike Heck. The promotion has yet to officially announce the event or bout between Sherman and Porter. Sherman is riding a four-fight win streak currently, defeating Isaac Villanueva at UFC Fight Night 171 in the second-round via a TKO stoppage. Porter is also coming off a victory, defeating Josh Parisian by a unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 18.
Justin Jaynes replaces da Silva, faces Devonte Smith at UFC Vegas 18
UFC lightweight Justin Jaynes has stepped in for Alex da Silva, who has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Devonte Smith for undisclosed reasons at this weekend’s UFC Vegas 18 event. Jaynes confirmed he had accepted the fight via a tweet and MMAJunkie’s Nolan King also reported the change had been made. Jaynes is looking to end a two-fight skid against Smith, getting finished by Gabriel Benitez and Gavin Tucker in his most recent Octagon appearances. Smith who currently stands at 3-1 in the UFC, will look to rebound from a first-round knockout loss to Khama Worthy at UFC 241.

Jessica Penne returns from USADA suspension, booked to meet Hannah Goldy at UFC 260
Former UFC title challenger Jessica Penne will make her return to the Octagon after serving a 20-month long USADA suspension. She will face Hannah Goldy in her return at UFC 260 on March 27 according to a report from MMAJunkie’s Mike Bohn and Nolan King, although the promotion hasn’t made the fight official. Penne hasn’t competed since April 2017 and will look to snap a three-fight losing streak against Goldy, who herself is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Miranda Granger at UFC on ESPN 5.

Positive COVID-19 has test Andre Ewell out, Askar Askar in vs. Cody Stamann at UFC Vegas 18
UFC bantamweight Andre Ewell has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Cody Stamann at this weekend’s UFC Vegas 18 event, due to a positive COVID-19 test. MMA DNA’s Marcel Dorff was the first to report the news and Ewell confirmed it later in a tweet of his own. Promotional newcomer Askar Askar will step in for Ewell to face Stamann now, the 11-1 veteran is coming off a decision win over Kevin Wirth at LFA 92. Stamann who has been a staple of the backend of the UFC’s top 15 bantamweight rankings, will try to bounce back from a competitive loss to Jimmie Rivera at UFC Fight Island 1.

Mariusz Pudzianowski makes MMA return at KSW 59
Former five-time strongman champion Mariusz Pudzianowski will make his return to mixed martial arts action at KSW 59 on March 20, the promotion announced in a tweet via their official Twitter account. Pudzianowski is 13-7-1 overall in his professional career and hasn’t fought since KSW 51 in November 2019 where he defeated Erko Jun via a second-round TKO. No opponent has been announced yet for the Polishman’s return to the cage.
