Report: Jim Miller Faces Scott Holtzman At UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho as Jim Miller is going to be in action against Scott Holtzman.

The Albuquerque Journal first reported the bout, although its position on the card isn’t known at this time.

Miller (31-13-0-1NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Clay Guida and Jason Gonzalez. Miller hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year, with that last loss coming to Charles Oliveira at UFC On Fox 31. Miller has picked up thirty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and seventeen of them came by way of submission.

Holtzman (13-3-0) has won four of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Michael McBride, Darrell Horcher, Alan Patrick and Dong Hyun Ma. Holtzman is a former Xtreme Fighting Championships Lightweight Champion, defeating Roger Carroll at XFC 26 to win the gold. Holtzman suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition.

UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho takes place on Saturday, February 15 from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
