Report: Jessica Aguilar Replaces Alexa Grasso At UFC Fight Night Philadelphia

Alexa Grasso has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Philadelphia according to MMA Fighting, replacing her against Marina Rodriguez is Jessica Aguilar.

Rodriguez (10-0-1) has competed just once thus far in the UFC, fighting Randa Markos to a majority draw at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo 2018. Rodriguez also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Maria De Oliveira Neta by first round TKO. Rodriguez has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.

Aguilar (20-7-0) has won just one of four fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Jodie Esquibel at UFC Fight Night Boise. Aguilar was the first and only WSOF Women’s Strawweight Champion, defeating Alida Gray at the WSOF 8 to claim the gold. Aguilar has suffered seven losses as a professional MMA fighter, but she has yet to be defeated by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
