Report: James Krause Faces Sergio Moraes At UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo

A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo according to MMA Junkie as James Krause is going to be in action against Sergio Moraes.

Krause (26-7-0) will enter the contest on the strength of a five bout winning streak, last defeating Warrley Alves by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night Lincoln. Krause hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years, with that last loss coming against Valmir Lazaro at UFC 184. Krause has picked up twenty six wins as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of them victories came by way of submission.

Moraes (14-5-1) comes into the bout while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the aforementioned Alves and Anthony Rocco Martin. Moraes hasn’t picked up a win in just about a years time, with that last victory coming over Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Moraes has suffered a total of five defeats as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, November 16 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
