Invicta FC Parting Ways With UFC Fight Pass
Invicta FC is looking for a new home after parting ways with UFC Fight Pass.
The all-women’s MMA promotion has been a staple of the UFC Fight Pass app since 2014, when the promotion held their first event on the platform in the form of Invicta FC 8.
The promotion, which is widely regarded as a feeder league for the UFC, has produced stars such as Cris Cyborg, Rose Namajunas, Megan Anderson, Yana Kunitskaya, Felicia Spencer, Carla Esparza, Michelle Waterson and most notably current UFC women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, who serves as one of the head bookers of the promotion in addition to President, Shannon Knapp and former UFC fighter-turned Invicta FC commentator, Julie Kedzie.
According to Fight Bananas, the promotion is set to air events on their official YouTube channel until a streaming or television deal can be reached for the Missouri-based promotion. Fightful has independently verified the report.
The promotion’s most recent event was headlined by PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison making her promotional debut in a dominant TKO victory over Courtney King.
