Report: Four Bouts Added To Combate Americas: Puerta vs. Duran, Desiree Yanez In Action

Four more fights have been added to next month’s Combate Americas: Puerta vs. Duran card as Desiree Yanez faces Criszaida Adames, Elvin Espinoza faces Rudisel Mora, Eric Alequin faces Charles Decca and Jomal Rodriguez faces Lamar Brown.

Sherdog first reported the bouts, with Yanez versus Adames serving as the co-main event of the show.

Yanez (5-2-0) has won just one of two in Combate Americas, with that lone win coming over Paulina Vargas at Combate 40. Adames (2-0-0) has gone undefeated thus far as both a professional MMA fighter and amateur MMA fighter.

Espinoza (3-0-0) is making his Combate Americas debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted well over a year. Mora (0-0-1) is returning after a two-plus year absence, with his last bout being a unanimous draw against Landon Quinones Stewart at a Bellator MMA/Monster Energy Series event.

Alequin (3-0-0) is going to be making his Combate Americas debut in this bout and two of his three pro MMA wins came by way of decision. Decca (2-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Titan FC, picking up wins over Steven Defalle and John Marquez.

Rodriguez (2-0-0) has spent his entire professional/amateur MMA career competing in just two promotions, with those being Rival Fight League and Combat Night. Brown (2-1-0) is returning to action for the first time in over two years, with his last professional MMA bout happening in March of 2018.

Combate Americas: Puerta vs. Duran takes place on Friday, August 28 from a location to be announced in Miami, Florida with Juan Puerta and David Duran headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
