Report: Desmond Green Faces Charles Jourdain At UFC Fight Night Rochester
A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rochester according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as Desmond Green is going to be in action against Charles Jourdain.
Green (22-8-0) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Ross Pearson and Gleison Tibau. Green is a former Titan Fighting Championships Featherweight Champion, defeating Steven Siler to win the gold at Titan FC 32. Green has picked up twenty two wins as a professional MMA fighter and fifteen of them came by way of decision.
Jourdain (9-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Jourdain recently won the TKO MMA Lightweight Title, defeating Damien Lapilus by fifth round TKO at TKO 47 to win the gold. Jourdain has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Rochester takes place on Saturday, May 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York with Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
