Report: Daniel Teymur Faces Chase Hooper At UFC 245
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 245 as Daniel Teymur is going to be in action against Chase Hooper.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Teymur (7-3-0) has won just one of four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Sung Bin Jo at UFC Fight Night Stockholm. Teymur is competing on a UFC pay-per-view event for the first time in his career, as all the fighter’s previous bouts happened on Fight Night cards. Teymur has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Hooper (6-0-1) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and the fighter does so after fighting Lashawn Alcocks to a split draw at CFFC 71. Hooper competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 14, defeating Canaan Kawaihae by unanimous decision. Hooper has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of submission.
UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
