Report: Cub Swanson Makes Comeback Against Daniel Pineda
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 256 as Cub Swanson is in action against Daniel Pineda.

Swanson (26-11-0) has won just one of his last five under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Kron Gracie at UFC Fight Night Tampa. Swanson is competing for the first time in over a year, as UFC Fight Night Tampa took place in over a year. Swanson has competed 37 times as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of those encounters went the distance.
Pineda (27-13-0-2NC) is undefeated thus far during his second UFC run, having defeated Herbert Burns by second round TKO at UFC 252. Pineda went 3-4-0 during his first UFC run, with those wins coming over Pat Schilling, Mackens Semerzier and Justin Lawrence. Pineda has picked up 18 of 27 wins by submission, with the remaining nine coming by way of KO/TKO.
UFC 256 takes place on Saturday, December 12 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
