Report: Cub Swanson Faces Kron Gracie At UFC Fight Night San Francisco

A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night San Francisco according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as Cub Swanson is in action against Kron Gracie.

Swanson (25-11-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years. Swanson last picked up a victory in the main event of UFC Fight Night 108, where he defeated Artem Lobov by unanimous decision. Swanson has suffered eleven losses as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those losses came by way of submission.

Gracie (5-0-0) has already picked up a single victory under the UFC banner, defeating Alex Caceres by first round submission at UFC Fight Night Phoenix. Gracie has also competed in the Rizin promotion, where he holds a second round submission over UFC veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri. Gracie has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and all of those victories came by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night San Francisco takes place on Saturday, October 12 from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California with Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
