Report: Christos Giagos Faces Drakkar Klose At UFC 241

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 241 according to Giagos himself as Christos Giagos is going to be in action against Drakkar Klose.

Giagos (17-7-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Mizuto Hirota and Damir Hadzovic. Giagos is competing on a UFC pay-per-view event for the first time in over four years, with his last such appearance coming at UFC 179 in October of 2014. Giagos has competed twenty four times as a professional MMA fighter and just nine of those bouts went to the judges scorecards.

Klose (10-1-1) also enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Lando Vannata and Bobby Green. Klose has seen his last seven professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been almost four years since the fighter got a finish. Klose has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against David Teymur at UFC 218.

UFC 241 takes place on Saturday, August 17 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
