Report: Chi Lewis-Parry Signing With The UFC

A new threat could be making his way to the UFC Heavyweight Division as Chi Lewis-Parry may be signing a deal with the promotion.

Amy Kaplan of Fansided first reported the news, but the length of the potential contract or any financial numbers associated with the possible deal weren’t revealed.

Lewis-Parry (7-0-1-2NC) could be entering the UFC while winning just two of his last five bouts, with those wins coming against Alain Ngalani and Ibrahim Elsawi. Lewis-Parry is also the current Abu Dhabi Warriors Heavyweight Champion, defeating the aforementioned Elsawi to win the gold at ADW 5. Lewis-Parry has picked up seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO. Lewis-Parry hasn’t fought much top level talent as a professional MMA fighter, with his opponents overall record in professional MMA being 13-42-0.

There is no word yet as to when Lewis-Parry will make his promotional debut or whom that bout is going to come against. Lewis-Parry will enter a weight class currently ruled by Daniel Cormier, who defends the gold against Stipe Miocic this weekend at UFC 241.
