Report: Cezar Ferreira Signs With PFL

Another former UFC fighter is making his way over to the Professional Fighters League (PFL) as Cezar Ferreira has reportedly signed with the promotion.

MMA Fighting first reported the news, but the length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.

Ferreira (13-8-0) enters the promotion riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Ian Heinisch and Marvin Vettori. Ferreira hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with that last win coming over Karl Roberson at UFC 224. Ferreira was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil 1, defeating Sergio Moraes in the finals of the reality show. Ferreira has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission. Ferreira has also competed a total of twenty one times as a professional MMA fighter and ten of those encounters went the distance.

There is no word yet on when Ferreira will make his promotional debut, but the third season of the PFL is expected to begin this Summer.
