Report: Bryce Mitchell Faces Charles Rosa At UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City
A featherweight division attraction is coming to UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City as Bryce Mitchell is going to be in action against Charles Rosa.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Mitchell (12-0-0) has already picked up three wins under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Tyler Diamond, Bobby Moffett and Matt Sayles. Mitchell competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Brad Katona. Mitchell is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has already lasted over five years.
Rosa (12-3-0) has fought once in the last two-plus years, which was a first round submission win over Manny Bermudez at UFC Fight Night Boston. Rosa has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC tenure, going 3-3-0 in the promotion thus far. Rosa has picked up a total of twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City takes place on Saturday, May 2 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Jack Hermansson and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
