Report: Bryan Barberena Faces Randy Brown At UFC Fight Night Greenville
A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Greenville according to Mark La Monica of Newsday as Bryan Barberena is going to be in action against Randy Brown.
Barberena (14-6-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last six UFC appearances, with the latest bout being a third round TKO loss to Vicente Luque at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn. Barberena is a former Dakota FC Welterweight Champion, defeating Dane Sayers by unanimous decision to win the gold at Dakota FC 13. Barberena has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of decision.
Brown (10-3-0) is back in action for the first time in nearly a year, last competing at UFC Fight Night Boise in July of 2018. Brown hasn’t picked up a victory in well over a year, with that last win coming at UFC 217 in November of 2017. Brown has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one by KO/TKO, one by submission and one by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Greenville takes place on Saturday, June 22 from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
