Report: Brian Kelleher Faces Cody Stamann At UFC 250
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as Brian Kelleher faces Cody Stamann.
Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com first reported the fight, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Kelleher (21-10-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Hunter Azure and Ode Osbourne. Kelleher is competing for the second time in a one month span, as UFC 249 took place on May 13. Kelleher has suffered ten losses as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of submission.
Stamann (18-2-1) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Alejandro Perez at UFC 235. Stamann has won four of five when competing on UFC pay-per-view cards, picking up wins over Terrion Ware, Tom Duquesnoy, Bryan Caraway and the aforementioned Perez. Stamann has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of decision.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
