Report: Bellator Signs CES Champion Nate Andrews To Multi-Fight Deal
A new fighter is making his way to the Bellator lightweight division as the promotion has reportedly signed CES MMA lightweight champion and former PFL fighter Nate Andrews to a contract.
Nolan King of MMA Junkie first reported the signing.
Andrews (16-3-0) won just one of three when competing under the PFL banner, with that lone win coming over Rashid Magomedov at PFL 5. Andrews is the aforementioned CES MMA lightweight champion, but he hasn’t defended the gold since January of 2019. Andrews also hasn’t competed in over a year, with his last bout taking place in October of last year. Andrews has competed a total of 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.
There is no word at this time as to when Andrews will make his Bellator debut or whom that bout will come against.
