Report: Bellator MMA Signs Luke Trainer & Andrew Fisher
Two more fighters have been signed to the Bellator MMA roster as Luke Trainer and Andrew Fisher both have reportedly inked deals with the promotion.
MMA Junkie reported the signings, whom are expected to fight in the promotion next year.
Trainer (5-0-0) is coming off of three wins in one night, defeating Joffie Houlton, Igor Puskarskis and Maciej Sosnowski to win the Euro Fight Night Light Heavyweight Tournament. Trainer has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by KO/TKO and/or submission. Trainer has already competed five times as a professional MMA fighter, despite making his professional MMA debut just over eight months ago.
Fisher (17-8-1) is winless thus far under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping bouts to the duo of Joe Taimanglo and Saul Almeida. Fisher returns to the promotion while riding a three fight winning streak, which includes wins over Bellator veteran Akop Stepanyan and UFC veteran Niklas Backstrom. Fisher is also going to be back in action for the first time in over two years, with his last bout happening in November of 2017.
