Report: Bellator MMA Signs Jay Jay Wilson

Jay Jay Wilson is currently 3-0-0 under the Bellator MMA banner (4-0-0 overall), but those wins came before the fighter was signed to a full time deal with the promotion.

That is going to change going forward because a report from Newshub states that Wilson has signed a multi-fight contract with the promotion.

“I went all the way to 22 years old without having a ‘real’ job,” Wilson said. “So I got used to not having security. Knowing that I have five fights lined up and regular cheques is amazing. Now I can actually start to put my life together and can make sure that all the years I sacrificed will be worth it. This is life-changing.”

Wilson’s three previous victories in the organization came over the trio of David Conte, Tyler Beneke and Jorge Juarez. Wilson is known for his quick finishes, as he has competed a total of 4:47 thus far as a professional MMA fighter.

The newly signed Wilson is going to be back in the Bellator cage this January at Bellator MMA: Budd vs. Cyborg, facing Mario Navarro, who holds a 4-5-0 record as a professional MMA fighter.
