Report: Bellator MMA Signs Denise Kielholtz To A Contract Extension

Bellator MMA competitor and current Bellator Kickboxing Women’s Flyweight Champion Denise Kielholtz has signed a contract extension with the promotion.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, but the length of the new contract and any financial numbers associated with the extension weren’t released as of this writing.

Kielholtz (2-2-0) has won two of three under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Jessica Middleton and Petra Castkova. Kielholtz has suffered a single defeat in Bellator MMA competition and that came to Veta Arteaga at Bellator 205. Kielholtz has also competed just once outside of the Bellator MMA banner, suffering a first round submission loss to Juliete De Souza Silva at Torarica Summer Fights 1 in October of 2015. Kielholtz last defended her kickboxing title in April of 2017 and hasn’t competed in that realm of combat sports since.

There is no word yet as to when Kielholtz is expected to return to the Bellator MMA cage or whom that opponent is going to be at that time. Bellator MMA doesn’t have a public rankings system of there own like the UFC, but Fightful does and Kielholtz isn’t ranked in our top ten at the moment.
