Report: Belal Muhammad vs. Lyman Good Rebooked For June 20 UFC Card
A welterweight division attraction is coming to the yet to be announced UFC card on June 20 as Belal Muhammad faces Lyman Good.
MMA Fighting first reported the news, as the bout was originally set for the UFC 249 card on April 18, but was canceled when Good contracted the coronavirus.
Muhammad (16-3-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Curtis Millender and Takashi Sato. Muhammad has a 4-1-0 record when competing on UFC pay-per-view cards, with that lone loss coming to Vicente Luque at UFC 205. Muhammad has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came under the UFC banner.
Good (21-5-0-1NC) has rotated wins and losses in the UFC, with the latest bout being a third round TKO win over Chance Rencountre at UFC 244. Good is a former Bellator MMA Welterweight Champion, defeating Omar De La Cruz to win the gold at Bellator 11. Good also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Ian Stephens.
The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, June 20 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
