Report: Angela Hill Replaces Brianna Van Buren At UFC Fight Night Raleigh

Brianna Van Buren has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Raleigh for undisclosed reasons, replacing her against Hannah Cifers is Angela Hill.

MMA Junkie first reported the change, but the bouts placement on the card isn’t known at this time.

Cifers (10-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Polyana Viana and Jodie Esquibel. Cifers has suffered a single defeat under the UFC banner and that came to Maycee Barber at UFC Fight Night Denver. Cifers has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO and five coming by decision.

Hill (10-7-0) has won two of her last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Jodie Esquibel and Ariane Carnelossi. Hill is a former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion, defeating Livinha Souza to win the gold at Invicta FC 17. Hill competed a total of seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of those bouts went the distance. 

UFC Fight Night Raleigh takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
