Report: Alonzo Menifeld vs. Devin Clark Rebooked For UFC 250
A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as Alonzo Menifield faces Devin Clark.
Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com first reported the bout, which was first set to take place earlier this month at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City.
Menifield (9-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Vinicius Moreira and Paul Craig. Menifield is making his UFC pay-per-view debut in this bout, as the fighter’s previous contests happened on Fight Night cards. Menifield also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 9, defeating Dashawn Boatwright by first round TKO.
Clark (11-4-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last seven UFC bouts, with the latest fight being a unanimous decision win over Dequan Townsend at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho. Clark is 1-1-0 on previous UFC pay-per-view cards, with that lone win coming over Mike Rodriguez at UFC 223. Clark has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of decision.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
