Report: Aletang Heili Faces Ryan Benoit At UFC Fight Night Busan
A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Busan as Aletang Heili is in action against Ryan Benoit.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Heili (13-7-1) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Danaa Batgerel by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. Heili also enters the bout while in the midst of a three fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year. Heili has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of decision.
Benoit (10-5-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last nine professional MMA bouts, with the latest fight being a third round knockout win over Ashkan Mokhtarian at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Benoit is back in action for the first time in over two years, with the bout at UFC Fight Night Sydney taking place in November of 2017. Benoit has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Busan takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Sakij Arena in Busan, South Korea with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
