Report: Aaron Pico Faces John De Jesus At Bellator 251
A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 251 as Aaron Pico faces John De Jesus.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN first reported the news. Pico (6-3-0) enters the contest riding a two-fight winning streak, picking up wins over Daniel Carey and Chris Hatley Jr. Pico hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year with his last loss coming to Adam Borics at Bellator 222 in June of 2019. Pico has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
De Jesus (13-8-0) is undefeated thus far under the Bellator banner having defeated Vladyslav Parubchenko by unanimous decision at Bellator 244. De Jesus also enters the contest on a three fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over a year. De Jesus has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and 10 of those encounters went the distance.
Bellator 251 takes place on Thursday, November 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Patricio Pitbull and Pedro Carvalho headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the CBS Sports Network.
