Report: 3 Fights Added To Bellator 242, James Terry In Action
A three pack of fights have been added to Bellator 242 as Joaquin Lopez faces James Terry, Jonathan Adams faces Edwin De Los Santos and Mikey Gonzalez faces Arturo Hernandez.
MMA Junkie reported the bouts, which are all slated for a preliminary card.
Lopez (5-1-0) will look to rebound from professional MMA loss number one and make his Bellator MMA debut in this bout. Terry (20-11-0) has won three of five in his most recent Bellator MMA run, with those wins coming over Justin Baesman, JC Llamas and Danasabe Mohammed.
Adams (0-1-1) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, fighting Erik Gunha to a draw and dropping a bout to Daniel Gonzalez. De Los Santos (0-0-0) is going to be making both his professional MMA and Bellator MMA debut in this encounter.
Gonzalez (5-1-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Hernandez (4-6-0) is also making his Bellator MMA debut in this encounter, but the fighter hasn’t picked up a win in almost two years.
Bellator 242 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California with Ryan Bader and Vadim Nemkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
