PFL Announces Kenny Florian Joining Commentating Team For 2021 Season

Former UFC title challenger Kenny Florian has joined the Professional Fighters League commentating team.

The promotion confirmed the news via an official press release of Florian joining UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture and former PFL veteran Sean O’Connell in the broadcast booth for PFL’s 2021 season. Florian is no stranger to doing analysis or commentating work, he’s worked as an analyst for ESPN’s MMA Live for seven years from 2011 to 2018 and with the UFC during their tenure on FOX. Florian has also been a color commentator for the television series BattleBots and for the UFC, while regularly analyzing fights on his podcast Anik & Florian with current UFC commentator Jon Anik as well.

Florian who went 12-5 in his 17 Octagon appearances and competed in three title fights, gave his thoughts on joining the PFL’s commentating team for its third season which begins on April 23 and airs on ESPN 2.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the PFL family and this season looks to be the best one yet,” said Florian. “Breaking down MMA fights and high level martial arts techniques is what I enjoy most, and I’m elated to be a part of the tremendous commentary team to get a chance to do just that.”
