PFL 2 Line Up Set, Kayla Harrison Has Opponent For Pro Debut
The line up has been second for Professional Fighters League 2 on June 21 and the main event will see Luiz Firmino take on former Bellator Lightweight Champion Will Brooks.
Two time Olympic medalists Kayla Harrison is going to be making her professional MMA debut at the event as well, facing Bellator MMA veteran Brittany Elkin in a lightweight division clash.
Other notable fights on the card will see UFC veteran Rashid Magomedov face Jason High, Brian Foster faces UFC veteran Ramsey Nijem, a clash of former UFC fighters as Ronny Markes faces Sean O’Connell, former Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion Brandon Halsey faces former WSOF Heavyweight Champion Smealinho Rama, UFC veteran Thiago Tavares faces Robert Watley, UFC vet Chris Wade takes on Natan Schulte and UFC veteran Vinny Magalhaes faces Jamie Abdallah.
Four of the fights will air live on the NBC Sports broadcast, while the nine remaining fights will stream live on Facebook. Outside of the Brooks vs. Firmino and Harrison vs. Elkins bouts, no word has been given yet as to where the other bouts fit in on the card.
PFL 2 takes place on Thursday, June 21 from the Chicago Theater in Chicago, Illinois with Will Brooks and Luiz Firmino headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
