Paige VanZant has been linked to rumors of a WWE appearance before, and she's expressing interest first-hand.
In an interview last week, VanZant mentioned that she was open to making appearances in WWE. At only 23 years old, she has plenty of time to make a move.
"Yes. That is definitely something that I'm interested in," VanZant told TMZ Sports. "I love the WWE. I think that I would for sure be a good WWE Diva — for sure. We'll see if that opportunity comes. I would definitely go for it, if the knock comes on my door, I'm taking it. I love WWE, I would love it. I have the personality for it. Yeah. When the time is right."
It's worth noting that WWE hasn't referred to their female talent as "Divas" for nearly two years, instead opting to make the move to calling them Superstars. VanZant was also asked about potentially taking on Ronda Rousey in WWE, since the former UFC Bantamweight Champion has been doing pro wrestling training.
"That would be interesting," VanZant said "I think they might have to allow some real, really real shots fired. You know, because why not?"
Rousey and VanZant had an altercation ahead of UFC 197 because Rousey took exception to Paige congratulating Holly Holm on her 2015 victory over Rousey.
VanZant competed at last night's UFC St. Louis show for the first time since 2016.
