Paige VanZant To Compete On Food Network Show

Paige VanZant hasn’t competed inside the Octagon since a loss to Michelle Waterson at UFC On Fox 22, but she will now be taking part in a competition of a different kind.

The UFC fighter will be competing on the Food Network show “Chopped.” It will be a special celebrity 5-part episode, with the winner getting $50,000 to give to the charity of their choosing.

Other celebrities competing on the show will be figure skater Dorothy Hamill, NFL player LaMarr Woodley and fencer Mariel Zagunis. There will be a total of 16 celebrities taking part in the festivities, but the entire cast has yet to be announced.

If you would like to check out PVZ in action inside the Food Network kitchen, it will be airing on Tuesday, April 4 at 10pm EST.

PVZ will only have a total of 20 minutes to prepare her dish, which will then be judges by a panel of food experts. The food expert panel will consist of Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli and Eddie Jackson.

To make things even harder for all the celebrities involved, they will not know what the ingredients are until moments before the cooking is about to begin. This isn’t the first time that PVZ has competed on a reality show, as she was a cast member on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
