Paige VanZant Breaks Arm At UFC Fight Night St. Louis
Paige VanZant competed at UFC Fight Night St. Louis, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Jessica-Rose Clark.
The female fighting star not only suffered a defeat this past Sunday, but also suffered a broken right arm in the first round of the bout.
VanZant took to Twitter to update fans on her condition:
Well… I broke my arm in the first! I was able to finish the fight but as you can see, had a hard recovering and throwing my right. I’ll be back better and stronger than ever! —— it’s all apart of the fight game. God had other plans for me. —- darn spinning back fist. pic.twitter.com/v5DhSv5YxD

Even though she broke the arm in the opening round of the fight, a gutsy VanZant still fought two more rounds with the injury and the fighter won at least one of those rounds in the judges eyes.
There is currently no time frame for when the injured VanZant will get back into the Octagon.
