Ovince St. Preux/Marcos Rogerio De Lima Set For UFC Fight Night 108
A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 108 card as #8 Ovince St. Preux takes on Marcos Rogerio De Lima.
St. Preux (19-10-0) has only won just one of his last five under the UFC banner, defeating Rafael Cavalcante, while suffering defeats to Glover Teixeira, Jon Jones, Jimi Manuwa and Volkan Oezdemir. St. Preux has previously challenged for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Title, losing a decision to Jon Jones at UFC 197. St. Preux also earned four wins in the Strikeforce promotion, with the most notable win coming over Benji Radach in 2010.
De Lima (15-4-1) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, defeating Igor Pokrajac, Clint Hester and Jeremy Kimball, while suffering defeats to Nikita Krylov and Gadzhimurad Antigulov. De Lima has fought a grand total of six times under the UFC banner and all six fights have ended within the opening round. De Lima also spent some time in the Shooto Brazil promotion, winning just one of two fights in that time.
UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on Saturday, April 22 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov headlining.
